Event Details

TT-East 2013 is a dual destination road trip through Maine and the White Mountains of NH. The first part of the journey will be a one day trip starting in Portsmouth, NH. We will make our way along the Maine coast stopping at various lighthouses and the Penobscot Narrows Observatory. The day will end at our first destination in Bar Harbor, Maine.

We will spend the next day in Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park, optional drives include a sunrise drive to the top of Cadillac Mountain and a drive to the easternmost point in the US at West Quoddy Head Light in Lubec and through the Schoodic Peninsula section of the park.

Wednesday will start with a drive along the Acadia National Park loop road. We will then leave Bar Harbor for a two day trip to our final destination in New Hampshire’s White Mountains. The first day will take us through Bangor into the Maine Highlands where we will stop for lunch overlooking Moosehead Lake. Then up through the Kennebec & Moose River Valley section of Maine where we will travel the Seboomook and Old Canada Road scenic byways and end the day with an overnight stop in Wilton.

The final leg of the journey will first take us along the scenic byways of Maine's Lakes and Mountains region where we'll see the famous Height of Land Overlook and Screw Auger Falls in Grafton Notch State Park. We will then travel through the Northern White Mountains and after a final stop in Crawford Notch State Park we will reach our final destination in Bartlett, NH.

The last day of TT-East will be spent in the Mount Washington Valley area. In the afternoon after a drive along the Kancamagus Highway and the other great roads in the area, the Mount Washington Auto Road will be closed to the public and we will have a private drive to the summit for sunset following a BBQ at the base of the mountain.  A Friday only registration option will be available for those that only wish to join us for this portion of the event.

Full week registration is limited to 15 cars.

Great people, great cars, and great roads is what makes TT-East the special event that it is. Please join us for the 13th annual TT-East so you can experience it for yourself.

Extending scheduled stops or taking extra rest breaks to accommodate individuals who are not prepared is not possible.
